CHECK-IN SO YOU CAN WAKE UP

THE PLAN

It’s Day 9 of  21 days of CLEAN EATING.  21 days of Jill’s assigned workouts, eating 3 meals a day, 2 snacks, the appropriate amounts, the correct nutrition and 8-10 glasses of water each day.  I wasn’t expecting to weigh myself until the end of the 21 days, but today before our workout Jill said we were checking in and I had to measure body fat percentage and weigh myself.  To my surprise and disappointment, both numbers were the same as before.

CLEAN BUT NOT PRECISE

After pouting for five minutes, we began the workout and we discussed my previous week.  There were plenty of things I did correctly, but the missing piece was a combo of too much fruit, too many nuts and a few sneaked in snacks.   Remember, I’m almost at the goal line and everything counts and meals require PRECISE intake, not PROBABLE.  Checking in or monitoring is simply a tool that will keep things on track and moving in the right direction.

THE WAKE-UP CALL

Upon completing my NASM workout this morning: boxing segments, mountain climbers, planks, jumping jacks, jump ropes and ropes, I feel positive once again.  PRECISION & COMPLIANCE!

THIS WEEK:

Portions, nutrition, water and weigh myself every morning and it’s one day at a time, not weeks out or even thoughts of Spring Break entering my brain.  Eat one day at a time- and make it precise!
