The Beach- It’s the Ultimate Example Of The Simple Life

Essential Oils Kefi Feb 17, 2016 Kiki Vale

The simple life is underrated.  Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t say my life is simple, but certainly I live simply, doing / surrounding myself around attributes of the beach.

The beach/ocean is beautiful, nourishing, peaceful and energizing.

Every day, here at home, I work to simulate ocean effects in my life.

BEAUTY: I light candles, I diffuse lavender essential oils, I get rid of stuff that clutters my clarity, I frame and hang pictures of my favorite people, I play music I love and I take care of my family who bring me JOY!

NOURISHMENT: I bring delicious, healthy food into my home.  I cook nutritionally dense meals, and I experiment with herbs and spices.  I use a variety of olive oils, mostly extra virgin olive oil.  As George Ellwanger said, “The grape and the olive are among the priceless benefactions of the soil, were destined, each in its way, to promote the welfare of man.”

PEACEFUL: My personal space has great lighting, which I love to dim at times. I embrace quiet time, I find time to pray and give thanks for all good things.  I keep everything positive in my home, and when things go south, I go into overdrive to get a sunny outlook back.   I walk my dog Athena every day, and when we get home, she sits by me to keep me company.

ENERGIZING: I surround myself around positive active and motivated people.  Every day is purposeful with respect for my time and others.   Everything I do is centered on KEFI- positive energy for life.

If you like the beach, consider living the beach attributes.
