My focus, nutrition and workouts are netting me wonderful results. Trainer, now friend, Jill has me on a kick butt program, which we had to have another talk about today. But first…
JILL’S GIFT TO ME
Today Jill showed up for our workout session as a Greek, with arms full!
This beautiful and thought out basket is my present filled with the tools (except the bike -I have that!!) I’ll need to use for my cycling training. I am so overcome with gratitude and excitement that Jill took so much time to prepare me with these items: Laminated training guide for “Bike The West,” a mask to wear for altitude training, recovery and recharge nutrition & blender bottles for nutritional drinks.

With this level of personal attention, preparation and enthusiasm I feel like a freak— Olympian! Truly, I am an athlete at heart, it’s now time to put myself to this test!
“Do I really think I’m better than everyone?” No way- I’m just trying to keep up with all the disciplines. The talk was about food…although my nutrition has been good, I haven’t been using my containers to measure, and I have to do that to get to goal. At this stage of my weight loss program, 6 lbs to go, my nutrition has to be exact. Today, I’m back to precise nutrition, and it matters, so I’m following coach’s orders. Jill- Ba– buster, always keeping me on track. Thanks to a coach who knows the drill and wants me to succeed!!! The gift- it’s greatly appreciated, but the sentiment and the authentic shared desire for me to do my absolute, very best on race day- THAT’S EPIC!
