Best Workout- Great Recovery Drink
Lately my workouts have been enjoyable due to the variety, but today’s was extra fun.
WORKING OUT IS A PROGRESSION
Since my weight loss and improved nutrition, my workouts have gotten better and I have gotten stronger. I love how every day is different but the same. What I mean to say is, I’m physically challenged every day, but every day I’m working different body parts either in the form of cardio or strength training. The routines have variety and various tempos, and I’m able to accomplish my workouts due to the fact that every week my workouts build on each other. Consistency and commitment are keeping me in the game.
SOMETHING NEW KEEPING ME INTERESTED
Today, Jill introduced two new aspects to my training:
*Strength training with sprints in between each set ( exciting to combine the two)
* A Recovery Drink instead of food for post workout (refreshing)
I usually eat a protein after my workouts, but today I drank the Beachbody Performance Recovery Drink with a banana, and it tasted really good. Post workout, instead of feeling fatigued, I felt energized and ready to roll. These new additions to my program are all in preparation of my upcoming training for Bike The West this June in Lake Tahoe.
My experience tells me that keeping a program fresh, varietal and fun will promote consistency and results.
