The Gift Of Time And Friends

Good day…  And it is a beautiful one!

MILESTONES REMIND ME TO LIVE THE MOMENT

Time: we cannot control it, but we can certainly manage it and fill it with all the good things available at our finger tips – not everything is good and not everything we do will be good but we can make a concerted effort to plan and choose wisely for the most desirable possible outcome.  This weekend has been full of milestones, and by osmosis, they are causing me to reflect on the gift of time and how we use it.  Thank goodness we have memories so we can recount and recall all the fabulous moments we have spent on the road to successful results, hopefully surrounded by loved ones.  In the end, wherever/whenever we decide to shine our star, it is the people that encircle us in those segments of time that resonate the most.

From Montessori to college completion, the end of each school signals the beginning of another form of education, and each symbolizes a chapter in our lives that hopefully allowed us to grow, evolve and become a little more excellent.   The people in those scenarios are what truly make the ride so wonderful.  Teachers can be magical and help us to stretch a little further so that we are prepared for the next phase, and possibly they could make a life impression on us that propels us to greatness.  I feel so blessed to have encountered so many nurturing, intelligent and caring teachers on my personal journey and during my children’s journey.

AS TIME GOES BY- THERE’S NO TIME LIKE THE PRESENT- TIME IS TICKING- A MATTER OF TIME- TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE- TIME-A GREAT GIFT YOU CAN GIVE

Graduation of any grade, at any age is a time to review and hold dear the work and effort that went into the process.  Looking back, did you make the most of your time?  Did you take pride in your work during the time allotted to you? Did you find a way when the way seemed impossible?  What did you do with your time-and what will you do next?  The good news is that if you take the time to review and reflect on what went right and what went wrong during every chapter of your life, as John Maxwell says….”There is no losing only learning!

FRIENDS AND TIME HAVE A SIMILAR EFFECT IN THAT THEY HAVE THE POWER TO HOLD US UP

John says…”Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.”

Make the best of friends, friends that want the best for you and you the same for them.  After all, that’s what we are here for; to compliment, build and support each other through it ALL! We personally each possess an exclusive gift,  and those persons we spend time with will want to see us use those gifts, which amount to something extraordinary.

I have met some of the most wonderful friends;  many of them I do not see often, but I feel their presence every day; that’s the tremendous and positive effect they have had on me!  My special friends, and my children’s friends and their parents, have inspired and empowered me to be the best version of me.  With yet another priceless milestone days away…I can only hold my tears so long….let us be mindful and grateful of the gift of time and friendships.

Make the most of the time we have on earth, celebrate the moments ….all of them, lift each other and live life to the brim!
