FAITH IS A POWERFUL THING

My stories lead me to you!

The response I get here from my readers increase my desire to share every positive thing I experience.

 MAY I……

Like you, every day I wake up and hope for the best, do my best and work to the best of my ability.  Of course life has a way of making this process a little tricky with its interruptions and occurrences, both good and otherwise.  However, the thing that gets me through every time is FAITH.  Faith in myself, faith in my abilities, faith in my husband and family, faith in my friends, faith in the process, faith in my choices, faith that it all will work out, but mostly my faith in God.

WEBSTER’S DEFINITION:

FAITH: Complete trust in someone or something.  I subscribe to this, and when I couple it with prayer and or mediation the road leads me to a better destination.

This is real and this is proven…..
Click NPR.org to read the beautiful article about the scientific evidence of how faith and mediation/prayer changes our brains and our lives.

“Untold hours in meditation may rewrite neural connections in the brain.”

Andrew Newberg, a neuroscientist at the University of Pennsylvania, has been scanning the brains of religious people for more than a decade. He has found that people who meditate, from Franciscan nuns to Tibetan Buddhists, go dark in the parietal lobe — the area of the brain that is related to sensory information and helps us form our sense of self.

“The more you focus on something — whether that’s math or auto racing or football or God — the more that becomes your reality, the more it becomes written into the neural connections of your brain,” Newberg says.

GEORGE

These neural connections worked this morning when my friend George, from across the ocean, said a prayer on my behalf, and my faith was once again restored.  Thank you George for taking a minute on my behalf.

FAITH IN EACH OTHER

That’s the beauty of life; we each have the power to reach out and help another person through our ability and resources.

We are one big connection born to compliment each other – not hurt each other.

Keep the faith through it all…..

“Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.”

― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

Thanks for allowing me to share today, and certainly I always wish you the very best in your endeavors.
