Keep Fighting

Good day- and it’s going to be now that I worked out with Jill!

I have discovered that the best way to learn a new skill or habit or lifestyle is through education, and that is exactly what Jill has, numerous nutrition/fitness certifications and continuous schooling.  I am a #Kefi product of Jill’s training, loyalty and wholesome approach to health and wellness, and today I am ever so grateful that I have been able to work with her for nearly two years.  Every workout is one of either learning, growth, strength, understanding, sweat, but mostly tenacity.  Today I realized that all the people who have worked with Jill before me, and quit, did so for all the wrong reasons.  They just gave up, or gave in or didn’t keep fighting through the process.  Health, wellness and fitness are not clear cut or simple or easy, but if you stay in the game with the right coach, and honestly apply the fundamentals, you are bound to “hit your mark.”

Two years ago I couldn’t perform the workout I did this morning because I wasn’t conditioned for it.  However, through Jill’s model of consistent and balanced progression of fitness and nutrition building blocks, I am now able to do a boxing workout that includes 59 minutes of core and plyo rounds, 379 calories burned while getting my heart rate to 120 fat burning mode!   Now we are talking Svengouli.   Today, I didn’t concentrate on the difficulty of the workout, only its purpose, this gave me a feeling of accomplishment.

My workout was symbolic of my journey in that, whatever I endeavor in life, if it’s worthwhile and great, it will take time and lots of effort.  It won’t mean giving up when I am not experiencing the results I want, or when I feel frustrated or defeated.  My life is a work in progress, which if I am to succeed I must KEEP FIGHTING!   So must YOU!

My wish for you today is to KEEP FIGHTING and PUSHING and SMILING through it all, so you can evolve into the fabulous person are born to be!

Enjoy your weekend, and if you have a minute, or 30, go outside and shake it around a little bit!
