New Beginnings!

As we Greeks say KALO MINA, “A good month to you!”

The first day of August reminds me of how much I love beginnings; the fresh opportunity to begin a new, reflect and review what I’ve done and what I should do in the time ahead of me.

My personal belief is that as persons of growth and #KEFI – positive energy, we are destined to be evolving into our best selves and it is so fun doing so even through the rough patches and especially midst the bright days.  The key is to start, even if it’s the 1000th time.

While starting is critical to any goal, finishing should be equally important.

#Kikikefigram for today: don’t give up this time.

Keep going at whatever you are working to accomplish. Infuse this in your beautiful brain: “Progress may be slow, it may be at a halt or it may be fast and furious, but the pace is not the determining factor, the allegiance to your goal is the factor.”  Unforeseen circumstances may alter the pace, but your commitment is what will see you through to the end : TO THE FINISH LINE!  How rewarding will it be to say THE END time for ANOTHER BEGINNING.

This morning I began my day with the routine I have been following for the past 22 months, and since arriving in Florida last Thursday, I am now officially 6 pounds from my goal (two pounds lighter than when I left Chicago)  Since arriving in the sunshine state, I have kept my promise to myself to eat clean, move and think positive thoughts.   I’m treating this vacation as a “Personal Best” trip where I engage my mind and body to only the best, and through this mindset and strategic routine I’m experiencing progress.

Mindset over mindless choices is possible wherever I go and whatever I have planned in the calendar. This truth will change your life for the better, when you wholeheartedly embrace it.

“On this first day of August I wish you a fresh start to your dreams and aspirations, and may you boldly and confidently take the first step to your personal goals.”
