Things Happen For A Reason

When we feel great, and life is going pretty well, we tend to avoid our EPS, but once the road gets a little rocky we tend to ask ourselves, “how did this happen?”

My#KefiLife has taught me that everything in life happens for the purpose of making ourselves better and whole, and the vehicle to drive you towards excellence is to healthfully feed your EPS. For great things to happen in your life you must practice a healthy synergy of mind, body and soul, and that translates into nurturing each with the other in mind.  I can say this with confidence because I haven’t always been balanced; my energy used to be channeled one way, HIGH VOLTAGE all the time-every time, and it caused me on and off again pain and suffering.  A human body is just not designed to go hard 24 hours a day, conversely it is designed to be excellent with all things in moderation.  In Greek we say…

“Παν μέτρον άριστον: Everything in moderation”

Generally speaking, if you look at illness, broken relationships, failed tests, major disappointments, weight gain and loss, saggy body, painful headaches, perpetual job loss, financial issues and the long list of woes that tangle up the lives of many, more often than not the cause is neglect, and or abuse.

Forget to water the garden- it wilts or dies
Eat junk all day- your body blows up
Lead a sedentary life- disease & decay build up
Labor with no rest- stress sets in
And you get the point…but just in case you want to be happy and well centered, you have to take the time to care for yourself and that which is important in your life.  When things happen, there is most certainly a cause and effect. So yeah, things happen for a reason.  Tragic things happen, and again most of the time there is a reason, but I can’t venture there because it’s not my place and there may be situations completely unexplainable.  The struggle shouldn’t define you, it should make you stronger.
In any event, we can manage much of what happens and we should assume our own personal responsibilities.  For great things to happen in your heart, your home life, work life, state of health; both mental and physical, and life in general, we must oversee all of it with love, great care, communication and attention.  You reap what you sow, your garden grows with nourishment and dies without it; it’s simple, and so is life when your EPS has plentiful sustenance from which to thrive.

Take heart, it’s never too late or too early to make life better due to “something that happened,” or clearly because you just want a better life.

Here’s to #KefiLife- one of positive energy no matter what happens!
