Thanksgiving Plan-

Coach Jill and I had a heart to heart about Thanksgiving!

Kiki getting nervous about all the cocktails, wine, turkey treats, appetizers, yummy desserts, delicious food, which is the reason for the season.  I still have 6 pounds to go, and I had some life situations that I used as an excuse not to be vigilant with regards to food portions and wine.  SO- I’m trying to figure out how to drop these six pounds by November 30.  Not realistic, because not healthy.

Jill said, “During the hectic holiday season, the professionals in the health world recommend just maintaining through out the end of the year.

No reason to cut back now in the midst of party frenzy, just stay where you are …do not let the needle go UP!”

That’s my plan, plus lots of water and tea, daily exercise and dressing super cute every day to remind me that our clothes don’t wear us, we wear them!

HEALTH.COM has some excellent suggestions for keeping extra pounds from creeping on you.

1-weigh yourself once a week

2-Excercise daily

3- Be selective when you choose what to eat…think before your grab

4-Occasionally just say no thank you and walk away

5-If you have to have dessert, go for the best calorie option: dark chocolate or fruit

6- Avoid leftovers!
