A little experimenting netted me a helpful and therapeutic body detox. Read on for details….
By now you have realized that I’m in love with the beauty and benefit of pure essential oils. So much so that when I, or my family, has an ailment or health issue I research which oils to resort to receive relief and recovery.
The latest health concern is stiff, sore and inflamed muscles, which can be painful and uncomfortable. The easy go to is doTERRA’S DEEP BLUE RUB, which does work very well, and I rubbed it daily for 6 months during my back injury.
(Ask me how to become a wholesale customer?)
Another option, which will give relief and detox your body while riding it of all the gunk is my Kefi Detox Recipe.
My recipe is simple, effective and even rejuvenating, and I know this to be true because I sampled it first hand last night.
10 drops of Eucalyptus oil
10 drops of Rosemary oil
10 drops of Peppermint
1/4 cup Dr Teal’s Pure Epsom Salt- Ginger & Clay infusion
10 squirts of Dr. teal’s Pure Epsom Salt Foaming Bath Soothe and Sleep With Lavender
Fill tube with water and add the oil, salts and foaming bath liquid. Sit in this recipe for 15-20 minutes and when you exit the tub you will feel like you are walking on feathers; at least I did.
FAST FUN FACTS:
Eucalyptus name is derived from the Greek words ευ (eu) “well” and καλύπτω (kalýpto) “to cover.” The oil comes from the leaf of the plant. When you inhale Eucalyptus it opens up your airwaves.
Rosemary has the same free radical fighting power as goji berries! In recent research, it’s been shown to boost nerve growth factor and support the healing of neurological tissue and brain function.
Peppermint oil uses have been documented back to 1,000 BC and have been found in several Egyptian pyramids. It may be the most versatile essential oil in the world along with lavender.
Lavender Many researchers claim that 2,000 years ago, lavender was referred to as spikenard or simply nard from the Greek name for lavender. The number 1 use for Lavender is to reduce stress & anxiety
Water Soaking in hot water supports immune cells traveling among your tissues/ nurtures tissue repair. The combo of warmth & freedom of movement, thanks to the body’s buoyancy in a tub of water, speeds healing
The oils I mentioned are multi versatile and I have only tipped the iceberg with their benefits. However, this information is a start, and hopefully will wet your palette to learn more.
Take control of your health and give these ancient and natural ingredients a try. What have you got to lose, only the nasty side effects of synthetic meds.
Enjoy your evening with peace, relaxation and essential oils!
