You Think You Have All This Time….

Happy Sunday!

Transitions are happening left and right over here and I’m feeling sentimental about people; the people in my life.

These are people in the hospital, people in rehab, people who are hanging on, people who are striving, people who live out of state, people who are moving out of state, people who are moving on, people who are staying on, people who have been here forever, people who have helped me, people who have taught me, people who have given me a chance, people who love me, people who are so good and true that I feel immensely blessed to just know them for a moment in time, or to know them a life time.  If you are fortunate enough to have people in your life who make your world brighter, better and more beautiful, please make sure to sincerely appreciate the moments you share together.

Abraham Lincoln said…

These moments can be as brief as sharing an enlightening conversation during moonlight walk, or as big as delivering your first child, or as compulsive as hopping in the convertible with the top down and driving to the city on a gorgeous sunny day, or as magical as walking your dog and she stops to wait for you to catch up, or as rewarding as getting into medical school, or a moment when your mom looks you in the eye and says “I’m proud of you.”

Memorable moments can be those that hurt and those that feel fabulous.  They can be uplifting and inspiring or extremely challenging, but that which makes it all worth while are the beautiful people who share those moments with you.

Seize the moments; embrace them and the people who provide them.

Take the time to say or do or be what you must- AND……

We just don’t know how much time we have so ….make the moments count!
