Who’s Your Best Friend?
I feel blessed to have so many good friends in my life, but certainly I try to be a good friend. Friends can cheer you up, encourage you, help you see what you do not see in yourself, and so much more. However, you know the friendship you must cultivate to be truly happy; the friendship you have with yourself!
Like yourself- not from a place of ego, but a place of self respect and growth. When you are working on YOU and you are nice to yourself, it’s much easier to feel good and be good to others in your life. Every person you come into contact with takes something from you, hopefully it will be bright and beautiful and energetic in some way. Strive to shine yourself because the gifts you inhabit make you and others better.
LIVE WITHOUT REGETS
My dear friend Anastasia and I were having a meaningful talk the other day, and the conversation veered toward being happy. Much of the conversation centered on the certain fact that ultimately we do not have control over anyone or anything except ourselves. Each of us needs to make “it,” right with ourselves. Sometimes people are unhappy with themselves because they are constantly looking back or feeling regretful about a situation. Look at a pencil, it has an eraser on it because in the process of creating, corrections and modifications must be made for yet another beginning to reach the ultimate result. Life is sweeter when we take each day as a new opportunity to make things right. Learn from the past and live today minus the regrets. Live with #KEFI positive energy, and if you fall get back up.

Positively I say, when you take good mental and physical care of yourself, you are a friend to yourself and function at a higher level. Everyone in my family is working on this department of self care. We are learning and applying good nutritional habits, we are sleeping sounder, we are moving our bodies, we are faithful and we are attempting to communicate respectfully. Each of us is a work in progress, as we should be. Persons are created NOT to stay the same, but instead to evolve personally then collectively! It’s OK- most of us do not learn these valuable tools in their youth, but it’s never too late to start NOW.
THE HUMAN’S JOURNEY CAN BE TRULY MIRACULOUS- SIMILAR TO THE CATERPILLAR EVOLVING INTO A BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY.

Doing something you enjoy will create lots of momentum in the “I like myself department.” Find what you like to do and time will fly, with less of minutes centered on negative stuff. You’ll personally flourish when you are engaged in an activity that is uplifting and fun to YOU! I like to write, I like to cook, I like to spend time with my family, I like to workout, I like to dance, I like to laugh, I like to swim in the ocean, I like so many things, and undoubtably I can find one thing I like to do everyday and do it well!
WHO IS YOUR BEST FRIEND? I hope it begins with YOU!
