Happy Day!

It’s been two weeks since my sweet and loving mother was born into eternity, and I miss her more and more every day. To soothe myself, I find myself doing some of the things she did everyday, one of which was to call and say, “I love you.”

Somehow good words send a positive reverberation through our body, and when we say upbeat and beautiful things to others we begin to feel loved and happy.

Simple things are fiercely wonderful things. We have the capacity to pause and choose to say the nicer thing and feel a better way. Of course there is a time to discipline and correct, but today’s conversation centers around greetings and overall conduct.

KAIROS is a beautiful word, it’s Greek in origin, many students and people go on Kairos trips. Kairos is essentially is about time and time is ours to fill one way or another, with good or otherwise type of words. Words stay with us a life time. The last words I softly spoke to my mother were “I Love you,” and hers to me were, “I love you more.”

KEFI: This is a way of life my mother and I shared, one in which we embraced all the possibilities, beauty and fullness of each day. Each day was a brand new opportunity to use the day for “good,” instead of waste.

I want to Live life full. Get up, Get moving and when I see another human being I will greet them with kind words and a lovely smile.

Wishing you an abundance of goodness today, and the knowledge that you too can choose “I love ❤️ you!”
