The IMPACT of Essential Oils

Happy Evening!

Today I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to share the chemistry, beauty, and benefit of doTerra therapeutic essential oils with physical therapists Courtney and Jack of IMPACT Physical Therapy in Oak Lawn, Il.  Their new facility is a one-stop shop for anyone seeking relief – recovery from injury/pain/fatigue in the body.   Some services provided include; physical therapy, dry needling, and so much more.  Check out this link for the complete list of services.

I am a faithful participant of several of the PT services offered at IMPACT, especially love the dry needling for releasing muscle tension.  Now, patients visiting IMPACT will have the opportunity to support their PT services with chemical compounds found in earth’s medicine; essential oils.

IMPACT PT’s (health care professionals) mission is to treat individuals of all ages, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives.  My mission as a Wellness advocate is to share and educate on the natural resources of healing in those areas.   The purpose of my workshop today was to inform on how people in pain and distress (stress, sleep deprived, injured etc…) can use essential oils to support their healing during and after being treated by Courtney and Jack.  As my good fortune would be today, Courtney allowed me to share my “talk,” with her three CROSS FIT guests as they were improving circulation with the compression boots.  Two for one today! Sara, Francisco, and Matt were excellent students and asked plenty of great questions about oils. Thank you guys for your attention and excellent attentiveness.  You also make great models!

The important thing to note about essential oils….

Essential oils are organic compounds extracted from plants with tremendous healing properties. … Just adding some of the most common essential oils like lavender, frankincense, lemon, peppermint and melaleuca oil to your natural medicine cabinet can: Fight cold and flu symptoms. Relax your body and soothe sore muscles.  Keep in mind that your body is a natural pharmacology and created to heal itself.  Take good care of yourself organically with oils, good rest, excellent nutrition and a positive outlook.

Thank you to IMPACT in Oak Lawn for the opportunity to share a lifestyle that improves all aspects of life, and will now improve yours too when you visit them!
