A Peace Of Ocean

Happy Day!

Kiki Kef! back at my happy place. The ocean, a place on earth that transcends me to a corner of Paradise, and where I like to retreat as often as humanly possible. Each time I arrive beachside, I am overcome with a familiar tranquil and peaceful response, which renews my person in trifecta fashion; mind body and spirit.

SOUNDS

At the ocean one can hear many sounds which calm the mind, first and foremost the water. I love listening to the water crashing into mini waves over and over again. The repetitive sound is soothing and comforting. Most water vibrations are peaceful. Other sounds that ease the spirit include birds flying over the water and tree branches/leaves whistling in the breeze.

MENTAL ESCAPE

Although I frequently steal minutes to read when I’m home, reading at the ocean is special because I don’t have any distractions. The book has a way of transporting me to the page allowing me to engage more easily. Additionally, reading is a form of learning and improving myself, so the opportunity to do it in relaxing environment is a luxury.

THE VIEW

Any where you gaze your eyes on the beach, the view is gorgeous. The sky, the pier, the boats, the people, the sand, the shells, the glistening of water, the sunrise, the sunset, the umbrellas, the sea turtles and the people all equal a Peace of ocean that I cherish time and time again.

The ocean, my favorite thing to be near when I’m taking a walk with anyone in my family. Certainly, bonding with loved ones in nature is organically inviting!

This year, get yourself a peace of ocean so you can get a piece of LOVE.
