About Kefi

Over a decade ago my friend Toula (yea she’s Greek) and I were dropping off our kids at elementary school and we happened to get out of our respective cars and go strong with some”life convo.” The great thing about us is that days, weeks even months could pass and we could pick up right back where we started with our deep thoughts on what makes us tick. That particiular day our convo evolved into an epiphany that there is significant merit to the Greek word KEFI, and furthermore WE embodied it!

The original definition is a hard-to-translate word which has been described by various Greeks as meaning the spirit of joy, passion, enthusiasm, high spirits or frenzy. Kefi takes many forms, but basically it’s when the soul and body are overwhlemed with an exuberance that must find an outlet.

Kiki’s Kefi ( and I believe Toula’s too) is a form or forms of Positive Energy that allows one to live life to the fullest! Carpe Kefi!
