100 Day “KEFI” Challenge:
Every 21 days for the next 100 days we will present a basic but crucial healthy habit to spring you into health. We are asking that you begin to implement each habit for 21 days then build on that habit with a new one. Research shows that it takes 21 days to implement and maintain a new discipline.
To ensure your success for the 100 day Kefi Challenge we are providing you with a chart for each healthy habit to log your progress, setbacks and questions. Healthy Habit # 1:
Eat nutritionally three times a day, centering meals around protein.
If you are still hungry add a snack in between meals.
Your body is designed is run efficiently if given the proper fuel. A balanced diet must have a carbohydrate, protein, good grain, fiber or vegetables/fruits in the correct proportions. IF there is not enough protein, you will not be able to grow properly and you will not be able to repair yourself. If you don not have enough energy containing foods you will feel very tired, you will not have enough energy. If you have too much energy containing foods you will become overweight. If you think you are overweight you might try taking in more exercise to burn off some of the excess food which you at in the last meal.
FAVORITE SAMPLE MEAL:
Grilled chicken with olive oil, lemon and capers, sautéed spinach, brown rice
and some berries with a touch of cool whip.
SAMPLE SNACK:
A pear with a cheese stick and or nuts

Your key to nutrition success is balance, consistency in fueling, portion control, and meal tastes good to you.For the next 21 days, work at eating 3 balanced meals a day, a snack in between if you are still hungry.Print the sheet we created for you, and log what you eat every day.
